Ayan Choudhury is a contemporary Bengali poet, short story writer, and essayist. His pieces have been published worldwide. He is the founder-editor of a leading literary magazine of Bengal named SROT. He has been editing this biannual journal since 2011. He has three collections of poetry and a collection of short stories to his credit. He is a professional artist and book cover designer as well. His research areas include Bangla alternative printing culture, Bangla poetry, culture studies, feminism, literary theories and criticism etc.
